I am an independent strategy consultant and the Director of my company Infrastrategies Management Consulting (Hythloday Ltd) based in London since 2012.

For almost two decades, I have successfully delivered many projects with the following variety, the experience from which continues to shape my perspective on resilience:

 

Industries: Energy, metals & mining, construction, manufacturing, transport, logistics, agriculture, waste management, financial services, fashion and textile

 

Project scope: Corporate portfolio management, group and business unit strategy, DDs, negotiation, business planning, corporate & project finance, sustainability, international trade, M&A and divestment, regulatory advisory, logistics planning, organizational restructuring, market research

 

Regions: US, Canada, Japan, Turkey, Indonesia, Europe, Central Asia, South Africa, Middle East

 

Prior to Infrastrategies, I worked as: 

 

  • Internal auditor at Finansbank in Turkey, 

  • Logistics expert at Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project in Turkey and Azerbaijan

  • Research assistant at the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) in the UK

  • Senior equity research analyst at IS Investment and Global Securities in Turkey and the US

  • Strategy manager at PwC in Turkey and the UK

 

I studied:

 

  • BA in Political Science and Public Administration and MSc in International Relations at the Middle East Technical University (METU)

  • MSc in Regulation at the London School of Economics as a British Chevening Scholar

In a parallel life, I am an amateur crafts person with a diploma in leather bag making, an upcycling aficionado, a work-in-progress tennis player, an avid traveller and a staunch believer in the possibility of peace for everyone, everywhere and anytime. 

 

I speak Turkish, English, French and Azeri, and I am a lifetime student of Japanese.
